We have babies ready to go home!
We have two blue males with bright blue/almost purple on their wings and one female blue baby...all ready to go home! Each baby is $200, please call or text if you are interested in bringing a baby home.
Both males are incredibly tame and loving. The female is a bit nippy but I think with time and bonding that will stop. She is very intelligent. She opens the cage door, waits for the others to escape, then escapes herself. I think with an owner who takes time to train her she will learn to talk, can learn target training, and other tricks.
They are pictured below:
We also have eggs!! These babies will be blue, white, and green. They will be ready to go home around the second or third week of August, 2017. You can reserve a baby with a $50 deposit which makes your balance $150 due when you pick up your baby.
After your deposit is paid you will receive updates via text messages or email with pictures and/or videos showing you the clutch of babies as they grow and change. It's amazing how quickly the babies change from week to week. You will be invited to meet the babies and assist in hand feeding them when they are around three or four weeks old..
The most frequent questions I am asked when someone reserves a baby before it hatches are:
"What if all the eggs don't hatch"
Clients choose their babies in the order the reservations were made. If 12 eggs were reserved and only 11 hatched, the last client to reserve a baby would simply wait for the next clutch.
*I have never had this happen before. In the past all eggs have hatched.
"Will I get to choose my baby?"
I do my best to match babies with client preferences. Many times after meeting the babies clients make unanticipated choices based on the personality of a particular bird rather than gender or color as they had planned.
Clients are invited to hand feed and choose their baby in order of when they made their reservation. Clients choose a baby on a first come basis.

How do I reserve my parrotlet?
Give us a text/call 704-453-4524 or send an email here. We can email you an invoice for the $50 deposit which you can pay online with your debit/credit card. Or you can mail a check for the deposit. Please call or email for our address.
When do the babies come home?
The babies go to their new homes around 6-8 weeks of age. Depending upon the preference of the buyer and the personality of the baby. Some clients want the bonding experience of handfeeding their baby themselves. I can teach you how! You can take your baby home around 4 weeks old if you are willing to put in the time it takes to hand feed your baby!
You should plan to bring a small carrier like the one pictured to travel home with your Parrotlet. Inside the travel carrier add a small amount of bedding (pine shavings are fine) and a sprig of Spray Millet. This will also come in handy during vet visits.
The weaned babies will come home having been introduced to seed, millet, fruits, and vegetables.
Meet the Parents
Here are Green (green, mommy) and John Wick (blue, daddy). They are wonderful parents, each participating in feeding and caring for their babies. Their babies will be blue, green, or a blend of blue/green.
How we prepare the babies for their new home
At two weeks old the babies are removed from the nestbox and hand feeding begins. The babies literally stay with their human family all day. We hold them, talk to them, and take them with us when we will be away from home for more than an hour. The babies see humans as a part of their flock. They learn to explore, step up, and sit on shoulders.
